Doctor's Appointment

39 weeks...Well yesterday we went to another doctor's appointment. To start things off I have gained a total of 21 pounds. Then they took my blood pressure and it was a little high. They made me lay on my left side and relax and took it again. The second time it was much better. Then the doctor measured my belly, which I am measuring 43 weeks. He also listened to the baby's heart beat which was 146 bpm. He finally checked me and said that I had not dropped or dilated at all. This was discouraging because I felt that maybe we had made some progress. So the doctor said I could choose a c-section or wait until next week and be checked again. I opted for waiting until next week. Hopefully we will have made some progress by next Wednesday. Thursday of next week is our due date, so maybe we could have a baby on our actual due date. We will just wait and see what this stubborn baby decides to do.
