40 weeks and 1 day...Today we had what we hope is our final sonogram before the baby arrives. Our doctor wanted to check out the size, the fluid, and the placenta to make sure things are all okay for baby. Well when they checked out the size they said that the baby has gone from 9 pounds 10 oz. to 11 pounds 2 oz. Yes, that is NOT a typo. Now this measurment could be off either way, but it is a definate that we are having a VERY healthy sized baby!! We also got the chance to see some great pictures of the baby is 4D. It has very chubby cheeks and very full lips as you can see. The first picture the baby was making a grimace and then it decided to smile for us! The sonogram tech said that I have a big baby and lots of fluid so no wonder the baby does not want to leave!! The head is still down, but not anywhere close to being engaged. On Tuesday we will see what our doctor says about this child coming out to meet us! We will keep everyone posted.
