4th of July!!

This was an exciting week! On Wednesday Mommy turned 31! We went out to dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Stults and the Henke clan. I was pretty sleepy and slept through the end of dinner. Then when we came back home I tried out Grandma Ruthie's new bumbo and my cousin Kierra read a ton of books to me! I loved it as you can tell. I listened really good and laughed at all the funny parts! I can't wait until she comes to stay with us for a week on the 14th. She is going to be a great help to Mommy, Daddy and little Auggie.

Then on Friday I celebrated my very first 4th of July! It was very exciting. We went to lunch at an American treasure, a true 50's style drive-up, Lou's in Peoria. I experienced the burger, fries, root beer and milk shake 6 hours later thanks to Mommy. Then after lunch we made it over to our neighbor's house for a block party. We swam even though it was freezing and Auggie did not mind. Then after a long visit with all of our neighbors we walked down to another neighbors house to watch the fireworks from their river view. By the beginning of the fireworks Auggie was asleep and not even phased by the fireworks. Auggie slept through the entire thing and didn't even wake up while Mommy and Daddy talked to the neighbors again back at the Taylor's house after the fireworks. We had a great week with so much excitement and fun!!

Great pictures guys. He is getting bigger every time I look at his site. It really looks like he like the fire works & the burgers. We had fireworks at the club that was unbelieveable. D-Construction spent $70,000 on fireworks. So they lit off half of them Saturday nite. So we were there watching them. Next weekend will be the other half($35,000 ) worth of fireworks to watch. Love you guys, Aunt Betty
